Megan O'Connor is an operator and investor focused on solving complex problems related to education and the future of work.
As the Vice President of Partnerships at Chegg, Megan currently leads GTM for the company’s University Partnership division and led strategic partnerships for Chegg Skills. She was responsible for expanding Chegg’s footprint in skills education/ professional certificates and led both the enterprise sales and partnership teams.
Megan is a frequent keynote speaker in the space and topics of expertise include higher-ed adoption of AI learning, career mobility, workforce development, training of the Frontline Workforce, Up-skilling and Re-skilling, alternative higher-ed and more. Megan also is a contributor to Inc..
Prior to Chegg, Megan was an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Kaplan Test Prep and the Founder/CEO of edtech startup Clark (acquired).
In addition to her work as an operator, O’Connor has served as a Venture Partner at Gutter Capital, a ‘Reach Roadrunner’ for Reach Capital, an advisor to Human Ventures, and is on the Impact Advisory Committee of Apollo Capital's Impact Fund.
She has an MPA from NYU's Wagner School of Public Service and a BA from Santa Clara University.
