Megan O'Connor is an operator and investor focused on solving complex problems related to education and the future of work.
As the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Chegg Skills, O'Connor is expanding Chegg’s footprint in skills education and the professional certificate space. Megan leads the sales and partnership teams at Chegg Skills, and is responsible for revenue for the department's B2B product line, Skills Solutions for the Modern Workforce (www.chegg.com/skills). Key topics of expertise include, career mobility, workforce training, training of the Frontline Workforce, Professional Up-skilling and Re-skilling, alternative higher education, working adults, and more.
Prior to Chegg, O'Connor was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Kaplan Test Prep and the Founder/CEO of Clark (acquired by Noodle). Clark provides educators with economic opportunities by giving them software tools to start tutoring businesses and prior to its acquisition was funded by leading venture investors, including Light Speed Venture Partners. In addition to her work as an operator, O’Connor is a Venture Partner at Gutter Capital, a Reach Roadrunner for Reach Capital, and on the Impact Advisory Committee of Apollo Capital's Impact Fund. She has an MPA from NYU's Wagner School of Public Service and a BA from Santa Clara University.
